How do you NOT know what Wayne’s World is? And how could people not recognize me as being dressed up as Wayne Campbell when I’M WEARING THE WAYNE’S WORLD HAT?!
AND how can you not smile when you see someone dressed in honor of Wayne’s World?
This college campus is so lame.
They’re freshmen here at U of I. They always forget to invite me to the things they do so I haven’t seen them at all this semester even though we’re on the same campus. My friend actually texted me yesterday if I’d want to hang out and then said he’d fill me in.
Guess what?
He forgot. Oh well.
In other news, I’m SO EXCITED to watch Salute Your Shorts!
…but I don’t care. I’m worn out. I’ve been busy every weekend for the past month. I like nights where I can stay in. I watched my Supernatural, the Addams Family movies are on, AND there’s an Are You Afraid of the Dark? marathon tonight. Sounds pretty perfect to me. Except for the fact that I’m alone in my happiness here. Which I actually kind of don’t mind tonight.
HOWEVER
My eating schedule today has been really weird. About a half hour ago, I finally decided that I should just have a bowl of cereal for my (LATE) dinner and call it a day. However, I’m CRAVING some pizza.
Living across the street from a Domino’s and a Papa John’s is super dangerous. It’s taking all of my self control not to order a pizza from one of them.
BUT I WANT PIZZA.
Or rather, they already did it, and we’re just finding out about it now.
We usually start around August 19-22nd, but for the 2012-2013 year, we’re starting August 27th. Instead of 1.5 weeks of class after Thanksgiving break, we will have 2.5 weeks. Finals will start December 14th and end December…
I’m so pissed too. You’re not the only one. Trust me. I need my breaks for my sanity. I need adequate time at home. I used to pity those at Wisconsin-Madison for having finals so close to Christmas and now I can’t believe I’m going to be one of the people I pity. It’s a big deal to me. All of this is. Even worse, we were never notified until it was a done deal. I am NOT happy at all. This should not be back page news like it was in the DI today. SHOULD. NOT. BE. This just isn’t fair.
P.s. I do confess that Engineering is harder than my English major but still. We’re all human.
How anybody could not like Green Day… I just can’t understand… I just…. I can’t!!
